Vietnam further extended social distancing measures until April 22
In light of the latest development of COVID-19 situation in Vietnam, the Government has decided to continue Directive 16’s social distancing efforts until April 22 in high-risk localities (including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang). This decision is made by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc as measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
Based on perceived risk, the National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control has divided localities into three groups: high-risk, risky and low-risk of COVID-19 transmission in order to implement the appropriate Directives that suit each locality’s situation. Also, this classification aims to achieve the dual target of effectively controlling the pandemic and ensuring socio-economic recovery.
We will closely monitor the development of the issue and adhere to government’s instruction, make appropriate arrangement and response to our event if necessary.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to remain vigilant. Take precautions to stay healthy and build up a strong immunity against the coronavirus.
